Taylor Castle is a Chicago based commercial photographer specializing in portraiture and conceptual humor. His initial interest in photography started when he was 14. He was making skateboard videos of his friends and wanted to photograph professional skateboarders for magazines like Thrasher and Transworld Skate. This led him to attend art school in Chicago, and later California where he started to realize his passion was creating a narrative with his work. He found that he most enjoyed making people laugh, and his photography became an extension of his personality, notably his sarcastic wit. Taylor moved back to Chicago to start his studio in 2007, and has worked for a wide array of advertising and editorial clients ever since.
